Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty suffered a right knee injury during practice on Sunday.
According to a report from Vinny Bonsignore, Jeanty left the practice field and did not return. The second-year running back also appeared unable to put weight on his injured leg.
The Raiders have not yet provided additional details about the injury or its severity.
Ashton Jeanty Leaves Practice With Knee Injury
Jeanty sustained the injury during Sunday’s practice. He left the field after hurting his right knee and did not return to action.
After practice, the Raiders reportedly gathered and knelt in prayer for Jeanty. The scene added to concerns surrounding the young running back as the team awaits more information.

Jeanty Entered 2026 With High Expectations
Jeanty joined the Raiders as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft after an outstanding college career at Boise State.
The running back spent three seasons with the Broncos and became one of the nation’s top offensive players.
In 2024, Jeanty finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting and earned unanimous All-American honors.
The Raiders selected him with the sixth overall pick as they looked to add a dynamic playmaker to their offense.
Ashton Jeanty’s Rookie Season
Jeanty started all 17 games for Las Vegas during his rookie season in 2025.
He carried the ball 266 times for 975 yards and five touchdowns. He also made an impact as a receiver, catching 55 passes for 346 yards and five touchdowns.
His ability to contribute both on the ground and through the air made him an important part of the Raiders’ offense.
Jeanty signed a four-year contract worth $35.84 million after the Raiders selected him. The deal includes a reported $22.7 million signing bonus and a team option for a fifth season in 2028.
