Moreover, the duo dropped the official video for Go Ladies the same day. Furthermore, the video debuted on BET Jams and appeared on the Paramount billboard in Times Square.
The album follows Coke Wave 3.5: Narcos. It pushes the duo’s shared sound further than any previous project. Additionally, five major features add serious star power to the tracklist. Consequently, the release landed with strong early momentum across hip-hop media and streaming platforms.
What is on the album and who appears
Wave Gods 2: Cosmos Brothers runs 26 tracks. It spans a wide emotional and sonic range. Here are the five featured artists on the project:

The album closes with a West Coast Remix of Ever Since U Left Me. It features Ty Dolla Sign. Moreover, the original version reached number one on Billboard Rhythmic Airplay charts for two straight weeks. Furthermore, it hit number one on Rhythmic Radio nationally in the first week of April. The track has over 36 million global streams and 24 million music video views. Additionally, French and Max achieved all of that without major label support.
Max B’s powerful comeback drives the project
Max B created the wave movement in New York rap. His melodic street style shaped artists including French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, A Boogie, and Kanye West. Moreover, he served 17 years in prison before his release in November 2025. Furthermore, Wave Gods 2 marks his most substantial project since coming home.
His chemistry with French Montana goes back more than 19 years. Their Coke Wave series built one of New York rap’s most beloved catalogs. Additionally, a skit called Cosmo Skit reflects on their shared journey. It describes the reunion as a realignment of the universe. Consequently, the project carries genuine emotional weight beyond its musical ambition.
French Montana and Max B currently hold two songs in the Top 10 Urban Radio charts. Those songs are Ever Since U Left Me and Minks in Miami. Therefore, their commercial momentum heading into this release has never been stronger.
French Montana’s big summer ahead
French Montana performs at American Dream Mall on June 13. That comes right after the Morocco versus Brazil FIFA match. He then heads to Toronto on June 14 for a performance at the FIFA Fan Fest. Moreover, the duo recently fronted the official Pelle Pelle x Knicks collaboration campaign. Furthermore, that campaign ties their music directly to their deep roots in New York culture.
Montana also carries a strong philanthropic profile. He serves as the first hip-hop ambassador for Global Citizen. He helped raise over $226 million toward healthcare initiatives across Africa.
