ACORN TV DEBUTS OFFICAL TRAILER AND KEY ART FOR AN ALL-NEW SEASON OF THE MADAME BLANC MYSTERIES

NEW YORK – June 16, 2025 – Acorn TV today released the official trailer and key art for the fan-favorite crime drama, The Madame Blanc Mysteries. Created by and starring Sally Lindsay (Cold Call, Love Rat), the thrilling series is set to return with a two-episode premiere on Monday, July 7 in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Additional episodes of the 7-episode fourth season will drop weekly on the platform.

The fourth season of The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns to the wonderful world of Sainte Victoire, packed with unusual antiques and objéts d’art, murder, mystery, sunshine and laughter. Lindsay returns as Jean White, who is navigating a fledgling romance with her sidekick Dom Hayes, played by Steve Edge (Starlings, Murder They Hope, Maxine). Co-writer Sue Vincent (Mount Pleasant, Shameless) stars as mechanic Gloria Beaushaw, while Robin Askwith (Strike, Benidorm) and Sue Holderness (Only Fools and Horses, Still Open All Hours, The Green Green Grass) reprise their roles as eccentric married couple Jeremy and Judith Lloyd James, and Alex Gaumond (Derry Girls, My Dinner With Hervé, Death In Paradise) is back as Chief of Police André Caron. Tony Robinson (Blackadder, Time Team) and Paul Chuckle (Elliott) complete the cast as Dom’s Uncle Patrick, a petty thief turned pub landlord, and Trevor, Gloria’s dad, respectively.

The Madame Blanc Mysteries, an Acorn TV Original Series, is directed by Dermot Boyd, produced by Jake Rollins, while Mike Benson and Andy Morgan serve as Executive Producers for Clapperboard alongside Sally Lindsay and Caroline Roberts-Cherry for Saffron Cherry.

EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS

Episode 401 – “Christmas” – Premieres Monday, July 7 on Acorn TV

Jean and Dom investigate when a puppeteer is murdered after a Christmas Eve performance at a Sainte Victoire market. Meanwhile, Judith receives a card from a former bridesmaid that contains a disturbing truth about her marriage.

Episode 402 – “Beach Club” – Premieres Monday, July 7 on Acorn TV

When Jeremy and Judith discover the body of a missing CEO inside a dingy with two rare coins placed over his eyes, Caron asks Jean for help in identifying the coin’s history. Meanwhile, Patrick looks into some suspiciously expensive wine payments.

Episode 403 – “Inheritance” – Premieres Monday, July 14 on Acorn TV

When Charlie’s aunt Fifi is mysteriously murdered after an intruder breaks into the shop, Jean tries to find the killer. Charlie is set to inherit Fifi’s estate, but a secret about her half-sister could change everything.

Episode 404 – “Bad Education” – Premieres Monday, July 21 on Acorn TV

A masked thief attacks the night watchman at the Sainte Victoire library and tries to steal a rare bronze statue donated by the Louvre, damaging the antique in the process. With the library’s reputation at risk, Jean investigates.

Episode 405 – “The Blueprint” – Premieres Monday, July 28 on Acorn TV

Jean and Dom travel to Malta to help a couple, Margot and Bobby, authenticate a copy of the blueprints for the capital city, Valletta. But when Margot is attacked, Jean suspects the pair have the original blueprints and are being targeted.

Episode 406 – “Antique Antics” – Premieres Monday, August 4 on Acorn TV

When a touring television show “Antique Antics” visits Judith and Jeremy’s summer home, its presenter is killed during filming. Accused of the crime, Jean’s friend David asks for her help to prove his innocence.

Episode 407 – “Where Eagles Dare” – Premieres Monday, August 11 on Acorn TV

When local man Jovan is attacked after trying to sell a rare trinket, Jean looks for the perpetrator while trying to resolve her failing relationship with Dom. Otto, a regular at the bar, retaliates against Patrick.
