Jhené Aiko continues to redefine soulful music as a vessel for empowerment and emotional restoration worldwide.
{Los Angeles, CA} – July 8, 2025 — 6x Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko continues her mission of merging soulful music with mindful healing with her highly anticipated new fifteen-minute mantra, “I’m Not Afraid,” via ArtClub/Def Jam. The new fifteen-minute powerful mantra layered with intentional megahertz sound frequencies — includes a serene visual of a single candle flickering in the darkness — warm, deep tones framing the flame like a soft sanctuary.
This mantra expands Aiko’s long-standing exploration of music as medicine — an artistic journey that includes the “Trigger Protection Mantra” (released May 2, 2019) followed by the unprecedented release of the multi Grammy nominated album Chilombo, the first contemporary studio album to incorporate megahertz frequencies. Aiko then released the critically acclaimed “Alive & Well Mantra” in 2023.
The new mantra initially launched on Aiko’s Instagram includes a powerful instructional poetic letter penned by Aiko:
I am not afraid (creation mantra)

HEADPHONES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Intended to be listened to in times of uncertainty —
When you are afraid of the unfamiliar,
Realize this is your opportunity to create.
Darkness is not meant to be feared, but embraced.
Without darkness, the light cannot exist
When you find yourself in the midst of abyss…
You must consider this:
You are the light…
And right where you are meant to be
Darkness can be a companion,
Yin + Yang = Balance
The unknown is no cause for alarm, it is a canvas —
Infinite possibility that you can decorate with all the beauty of your soul’s purpose.
Now is your chance to create the inner world you wish to project onto the outer world.
When you close your eyes, what’s the best case scenario you can think of? What do you see?
Now is your chance to realize this dream
Giving thanks to the depth, the stillness, and calm…
In the uncharted shadows,
Of the midnight zone…
Redirect your fear and let your imagination roam…
and lead you to your true home…
Of being adaptable, balanced, and whole

When “i am not afraid (creation mantra)” by Jhené Aiko is played, the vibrations generate cymatic patterns—standing waveforms that modulate the water’s surface into a dynamic field of wavelets, distorting and scattering reflected light from the candle in the center.
