Tyler Perry is turning up the heat on Netflix with his latest project, Where There’s Smoke, a 16-episode drama set to explore the intense world of firefighters. The series is part of Perry’s ongoing creative partnership with the streaming giant, where he writes, directs, and produces under a multi-year first-look deal.
The show stars Tyler Lepley as Owen, Mike Merrill as Cameron, Da’Vinchi of BMF and All American fame as Noah, and Eltony Williams as Jermaine. The ensemble cast also includes Brock O’Hurn, Joe Hunter, Karen Obilom, Brittany S. Hall, Mariah Goodie, Jordan Rodriguez, and Judi Moon, who plays Darcy.
