It started with a teaser. Last week, Usher and Chris Brown dropped a joint commercial on Instagram that sent fans into a frenzy. Now the speculation is over. The 2 R&B icons have officially announced The R&B Tour, a co-headlining stadium run that will visit cities across the United States and Canada throughout 2026.
Produced by Live Nation, the 33-date tour launches on June 26 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver and closes out on December 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. In between, the tour will make stops in major markets including Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and Miami, among many others.
Beyond the music, the tour is partnering with Global Citizen to support children’s education worldwide, donating $1 from every ticket sold to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
2 artists at the peak of their power
The timing of this tour is no coincidence. Both artists arrive on this co-headlining run fresh off career-defining achievements that underscore just how dominant they remain in the live music space.
Usher closed out 2024 with the North American leg of his Past, Present, Future tour, which sold over 1.1 million tickets and featured 62 sold-out shows across multiple nights in each city. That run was followed by an equally strong European leg, cementing his status as one of the most bankable live performers in the world. He also headlined Super Bowl LVIII that same year, reaching an audience of hundreds of millions.
Chris Brown wrapped his Breezy Bowl XX World Tour last October, a sold-out global run celebrating 20 years of his career. The tour earned nearly $300 million and drew 2 million fans across stadiums in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, making it the highest-grossing tour ever by a solo Black American male artist and Brown’s best-selling run to date.
