50 Cent has reignited his long-running feud with Rick Ross after early chart projections for Ross’ latest album, Set in Stone, suggested a disappointing debut.
The rapper shared several Instagram posts mocking his longtime rival after reports claimed the album could open outside the top 20 of the Billboard 200 chart.
Although 50 Cent never mentioned Rick Ross by name, his comments and the videos he shared left little doubt about who he was targeting.
50 Cent posted a video featuring commentary that described Set in Stone as a commercial disappointment. The clip also compared the album’s streaming numbers with those of Drake.
He followed the video with a blunt caption aimed at Ross.
“Yo, [he] had 20 features and it didn’t help,” 50 Cent wrote. “Alright now, pack it up. It’s over, officer. Get ya bum juice and ya wings and get the f**k up outta here. LOL.”
The post quickly spread across social media as fans reacted to the latest chapter in the rappers’ ongoing rivalry.
According to Hits Daily Double, Set in Stone is currently projected to debut outside the Billboard 200’s top 20.
If the projection holds, the album would open lower than some of Ross’ recent releases.
His 2021 solo album, Richer Than I Ever Been, debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200. His 2023 collaborative album with Meek Mill, Too Good to Be True, entered the chart at No. 23.
While projections can change before official chart results are released, the early estimates gave 50 Cent fresh material for his online trolling.
The Grammy-winning rapper did not stop with one post.
In another Instagram upload, he shared a photo of himself eating popcorn while continuing to poke fun at Ross.
“So when your tickets don’t sell and your album don’t sell, what do ya do?” he wrote. “Promote car shows and sell chicken wings. LOL.”
The remarks referenced Rick Ross’ business ventures, including his popular car shows and food promotions.
As of now, Rick Ross has not publicly responded to 50 Cent’s latest comments.
The two artists have traded insults for years, often using social media to criticize each other’s music, businesses, and careers. Their rivalry has become one of hip-hop’s longest-running feuds.
Whether Ross chooses to respond remains to be seen, but 50 Cent has once again turned chart projections into another opportunity to keep their public battle alive.
