Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham are giving fans a rare glimpse of their longtime relationship.
The couple, who have been together since 1986, were recently photographed together in Chicago. Their appearance came ahead of a reunion celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
TV producer Jill Van Lokeren shared a photo of the couple on Instagram on Aug. 9. Van Lokeren previously worked as a senior supervising producer on Winfrey’s daytime talk show.
The photo showed Winfrey and Graham posing together while holding a plate of fried chicken. Van Lokeren described the gathering as a night filled with love and joy.

Winfrey, 72, dressed in a cream pinstripe blazer and matching pants for the occasion. She completed the look with white shoes.
Graham, 75, opted for a black suit over a white shirt and dress shoes. The longtime couple appeared relaxed as they posed together at Navy Pier.
The public appearance is particularly notable because Winfrey and Graham rarely appear together at major events.
Their latest photo reportedly marks the first time they have been publicly photographed together since the grand opening gala for Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta in October 2019.
Although Winfrey and Graham have maintained a relationship for decades, they have generally kept their personal life away from the spotlight.

Winfrey and Graham have been together for about 40 years, but they never officially married.
The couple became engaged in 1992. However, Winfrey later explained that she ultimately realized marriage was not what she wanted.
In a 2020 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, Winfrey reflected on the proposal and her decision not to walk down the aisle.
She explained that she wanted to know Graham considered her worthy of becoming his wife. However, she did not want the compromises and everyday responsibilities she associated with marriage.
Winfrey also said her career was a major priority at the time and that both she and Graham understood the demands of her life.
Oprah calls their relationship a ‘spiritual partnership’
Rather than describing their relationship through marriage, Winfrey has previously called it a “spiritual partnership.”
The term reflects the way the couple have built a long-term relationship while maintaining their individual identities and careers.
Graham is the founder and CEO of S. Graham & Associates, a management and consulting firm. He is also an author and speaker who has focused much of his career on identity development and leadership.
Winfrey, meanwhile, has built a media empire that includes television, film, publishing and other entertainment ventures.
Their decision to remain unmarried has often attracted public attention. However, Winfrey has repeatedly made clear that marriage is not necessary for her definition of a successful relationship.
After decades together, the couple’s rare public appearance offered fans another glimpse into a partnership that has lasted through major changes in both of their lives.
