The Descent Part 2 Returns to the Caves
The Descent: Part 2 picks up after the events of the original film.
Sarah Carter, played by Shauna McDonald, emerges alone from the Appalachian cave system. She appears bloodied, confused and unable to speak about what happened underground.
However, authorities force Sarah to return to the caves. She joins a rescue team searching for the women who remain missing.
As Sarah travels deeper underground, fragments of her memory begin to return. Soon, she remembers the terrifying creatures that attacked her and her friends.
Unfortunately, the rescue team soon encounters another group of the creatures.
The new tribe of deformed crawlers proves even more aggressive than the creatures Sarah faced before. As a result, the rescue mission quickly becomes a fight for survival.
