Nino Paid, whose legal name is Jacquawn Andrews, was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol on September 1. Authorities detained him as he attempted to re-enter the United States from Canada.
Officials initially held Andrews at the Wayne County Jail in Michigan. Authorities later extradited him to Atlanta to face the charges.

The Atlanta Police Department identified Myles and Andrews as suspects after investigating the shooting.
In a statement cited by XXL, the department said investigators identified both men in connection with the incident following a thorough investigation.
Atlanta Shooting Left 29-Year-Old Man Dead
The case stems from a shooting on April 25 in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.
Atlanta police officers responded to reports of a person shot near the area. When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition. He later died from his injuries.
Investigators subsequently worked to identify suspects and establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities have not established the defendants’ guilt through a court verdict.
Rappers Remain in Custody as Case Develops
The charges mark a serious legal development for both artists. Nino Paid and Warhol.SS remain in custody as the case proceeds.
XXL reported that it contacted representatives for both rappers for comment. The publication did not include a response in its report.
Further court proceedings may provide additional information about the allegations. Until the case reaches a resolution, both artists remain accused of the crimes rather than convicted of them.
