JAY-Z fans in Los Angeles have an opportunity to pick up a free collectible celebrating the rapper’s American Gangster album. Roc Nation announced that the first 100 visitors to the JAŸ-Z 30 Los Angeles pop-up on October 19 will receive a free album tag keychain.
The promotion adds a special giveaway to the pop-up experience. According to Roc Nation’s Instagram announcement, visitors can collect the item while supplies last, with the offer limited to the first 100 people.
The event is scheduled to run from noon to 7 p.m. at 7007 Romaine St., Suite 106, in Los Angeles. However, the giveaway is limited, so arriving early may improve a fan’s chances of receiving the collectible.
American Gangster gets a collectible tribute
Released in 2007, American Gangster is one of JAY-Z’s notable studio albums. The project drew inspiration from the crime film of the same name and featured songs including “Roc Boys (And the Winner Is…).”
The album remains part of the rapper’s extensive musical catalog. Its influence on his career makes it a fitting subject for a commemorative merchandise item aimed at longtime fans.
The free album tag keychain gives visitors a small keepsake connected to the project. It also adds a collectible element to the JAŸ-Z 30 pop-up experience.
