Peacock’s August 2026 lineup brings a mix of horror, historical drama, family comedy and reality TV, giving subscribers plenty to work through before summer ends. The slate opens with a run of exclusive premieres in late July before rolling into a full August calendar.
Obsession arrives July 17 as a Peacock exclusive from Curry Barker. The indie horror film follows a man whose wish for a woman to fall in love with him leads to disturbing consequences once she begins showing obsessive behavior. The film built significant buzz in theaters before making its way to streaming.
The Peacock premieres worth watching this summer
Pressure premieres July 24 as a historical thriller set during the tense 72 hours leading up to D-Day. The story follows a weary British meteorologist and Allied leadership as they weigh whether to trust a controversial weather forecast to launch the largest and most dangerous invasion in history.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie follows on July 30. Mario and his crew respond to a call for help and launch into a galaxy-spanning adventure filled with new worlds and unexpected threats. The film gives families an easy option for shared viewing.
You, Me and Tuscany rounds out the early wave of premieres on August 7. The romantic getaway film trades Mario’s mushroom kingdom for the Italian countryside, offering a lighter counterpoint to the month’s darker titles.

What returns to Peacock later in August
The Undeclared War returns for Season 2 on August 27, bringing back its blend of secrets and cyber intrigue. The series continues building on the tension that defined its first season.
Reality fans get their own moment on August 31 with the Love Island USA Season 8 Reunion. The Islanders come back together to revisit the season’s biggest moments, resolve unfinished business and update viewers on where each couple stands now that the villa has closed.
Peacock’s Emmy-nominated shows worth revisiting
August also offers a good excuse to catch up on Peacock’s Emmy-nominated slate. All Her Fault picked up nominations for Outstanding Limited Series, along with acting nods for Sarah Snook and Dakota Fanning. The Traitors earned six nominations total, including a third consecutive Outstanding Host nomination for Alan Cumming. Saturday Night Live continued its record-setting Emmy history with another strong batch of nominations, including a first-time nod for Connor Storrie of Heated Rivalry.
Beyond the marquee premieres, Peacock’s regular weekly programming continues throughout August, including new episodes of America’s Got Talent, Below Deck Mediterranean, Days of Our Lives, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and several other returning series across NBC, Bravo, Oxygen and Telemundo.
