Kentucky Woman Pulls Rifle Over Delayed KFC Order

A Kentucky woman is facing criminal charges after police say she pointed an AR-15-style rifle at employees inside a KFC restaurant because her drive-thru order was taking too long.

According to authorities, officers responded to a KFC on Richmond Road at about 6 p.m. after receiving reports of a customer threatening employees.

Investigators said the woman, identified as Native Roman, became frustrated while waiting in the drive-thru line.

Instead of remaining in her vehicle, police say she parked, retrieved an AR-15-style rifle and pointed it toward restaurant employees before leaving the scene.

Police used surveillance cameras to identify the suspect

Employees immediately reported the incident to law enforcement.

Authorities reviewed the restaurant’s security camera footage and used the vehicle’s license plate information to identify the suspect.

Police later located Roman and arrested her in connection with the incident.

Officials have not reported any injuries, and no shots were fired during the encounter.

The investigation remains ongoing.
