Porsha Williams secured a major win in her divorce from Simon Guobadia, walking away with full ownership of the Atlanta mansion the two once shared along with a seven-figure settlement. Court documents show Guobadia agreed to pay the remaining amount he owes quickly, resolving what had been an ongoing financial dispute between the former couple.
According to the filing, Guobadia transferred his interest in the home to Williams through a quitclaim deed. He also agreed that Williams is entitled to $1,568,181.63 in reimbursement from his share of the property’s equity. Additionally, he agreed to hand over the title to a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost as part of the settlement.
What Porsha Williams can now do with the property
Under the agreement, Williams has full authority to refinance the home or sell it through a commercially reasonable process. She does not need approval from Guobadia or an arbitrator to make either decision, giving her complete control over the property moving forward.
Both parties confirmed the settlement terms under oath during a hearing on August 5. They told the judge the agreement resolved all remaining issues between them, closing out the financial disputes that had continued since their divorce filing. In her court filing, Williams noted that Guobadia had already agreed to the terms laid out in the consent order before the hearing took place.

A brief marriage that ended in a long legal process
Williams and Guobadia married in November 2022, but their relationship did not last long. Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, just 15 months after the wedding. The case has continued through the courts since then, with property division and financial settlements taking center stage throughout the process.
With this agreement now finalized, Williams closes out one of the more high-profile divorce cases to come out of the Real Housewives franchise in recent years, securing both the home and a significant financial settlement in the process.
