Usher and Chris Brown brought their co-headlining R&B Tour to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for back-to-back performances on August 7 and 8. The two-night run sits within a 51-show North American stadium trek that launched June 26 in Denver and wraps December 12 in Tampa, according to Pollstar.

The numbers are large. Combined ticket sales across the first eight venues topped $101.9 million, drawing 566,043 tickets across 13 sold-out concerts, per Pollstar. The average gross per show reached $7.8 million. That figure put Brown and Usher at the top of Pollstar’s Global Concert Pulse chart for average gross.
How night one at MetLife played out
Friday’s show started late due to a weather delay. Lingering thunderstorms pushed the opening back, and the performance finally got underway around 9:30 PM. The three-hour set included guest appearances from 50 Cent, Lil Baby and Jadakiss. Usher and Brown traded off sets throughout the evening.
Show times and gate entry
Both nights start at 8 PM. Stadium gates open at 6 PM. Based on earlier tour stops, the headliners typically take the stage closer to 8:50 PM. Fans arriving late risk missing the opening, so getting seated by 8:30 PM is advisable.

Parking costs and how to get there
Parking lots open at 3 PM Saturday. Reported pricing varies between outlets. NJ 101.5 listed standard parking at $50 and oversized vehicles at $200. NorthJersey.com reported $40 for cars and $140 for oversized vehicles. Fans should confirm current pricing directly at the venue. Prepaid parking through ParkWhiz does not guarantee a specific space.
Rideshare pickup and drop-off falls in Lot E. Surge pricing after the show is common, with wait times for a car potentially stretching to 90 minutes. NJ Transit service from Secaucus Junction to the stadium offers a reliable alternative.
What tickets look like for Saturday
As of Friday, Saturday tickets started at $172 through Ticketmaster, per NorthJersey.com. Friday’s show had tickets starting at $98, with Saturday’s availability running noticeably tighter. Both artists perform more than 50 songs across roughly three hours, alternating throughout the night.
How big this tour could get
The R&B Tour spans 26 stadiums across the US and Canada. Sixteen venues host multiple nights, and seven cities have three-show runs, including Las Vegas, Houston, Arlington, Santa Clara and Inglewood. Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium stands as the only venue with four bookings. Pollstar projects the tour’s total gross could approach $400 million by year’s end, with ticket sales potentially passing 2 million.
