Jay-Z turned his Paris concert into another major moment in his 30th anniversary celebration. Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams joined him onstage at Stade de France on Sept. 10.
The show formed part of Jay-Z’s Jay-Z30 run. The series celebrates three decades since the release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. The Paris date was officially scheduled at Stade de France on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026.
Timberlake was the first surprise guest. He joined Jay-Z for Holy Grail, the hit from Magna Carta Holy Grail that features Timberlake. The pair then moved into Timberlake’s Until the End of Time.
The crowd also got a second major guest.
Pharrell joins Jay-Z on the Paris stage
Pharrell Williams joined Jay-Z for several songs. The pair performed Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me) and Excuse Me Miss. They also performed Allure from Jay-Z’s 2003 album, The Black Album.
The Paris show gave the long time collaborators another chance to share the stage. Pharrell had also appeared during Jay-Z’s anniversary concerts in New York earlier this summer.

The Paris date followed a busy run of shows for Jay-Z. In July, he marked 30 years of Reasonable Doubt and 25 years of The Blueprint with three concerts at Yankee Stadium in New York.
Those shows featured several major guests, including Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Eminem, Usher, Rihanna and Nas. Jay-Z later brought the celebration to London, where guests included Idris Elba, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef, Sampha and Dave.
The Paris concert adds another chapter to the anniversary run. It also shows how Jay-Z has used the series to connect different parts of his career.
For fans, the appeal goes beyond hearing familiar songs. Each stop has created room for unexpected collaborations and appearances from artists linked to different eras of his career.
The celebration will continue in Los Angeles. Jay-Z is scheduled to perform at SoFi Stadium on Oct. 23 and 24.
With more dates ahead, the question now is which familiar name could appear next.
