Jay-Z is bringing his JAŸ-Z 30 celebration to Paris as the rapper continues a major return to the stage.
The hip-hop icon is set to perform Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Stade de France. The concert marks his first major Paris performance as part of the tour celebrating 30 years since his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.

The Jay-Z Paris concert is part of a larger celebration of the rapper’s three-decade career.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, released Reasonable Doubt in 1996. The album launched a career that would produce influential records including The Blueprint, The Black Album and 4:44.
The Stade de France describes the performance as a celebration of Jay-Z’s culture, heritage and greatest hits. The venue also highlights his global impact as both an artist and entrepreneur.
What Fans Can Expect From JAŸ-Z 30
The Paris show follows Jay-Z’s recent performances in the United States and his London concerts.
His JAŸ-Z 30 shows have focused heavily on his catalog of classic hits. Recent performances have included songs such as “99 Problems,” “Empire State of Mind” and “Hard Knock Life.” His London shows also featured appearances from artists including Idris Elba, Giggs, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean.
However, fans heading to Paris will have to wait until the show begins to see which guests, if any, join Jay-Z onstage.
Jay-Z Returns to the Stade de France
The Paris concert also adds another chapter to Jay-Z’s history with the stadium.
He previously performed at the Stade de France with Beyoncé during the On the Run II tour in July 2018. The upcoming performance will put Jay-Z back on the famous Paris stage as a solo headliner.
The official Stade de France schedule lists doors opening at 6 p.m., the first act at 8 p.m. and Jay-Z’s performance beginning at 9 p.m. The show is scheduled to end around 11 p.m.
A Major Moment for Jay-Z
The Paris stop comes at an important point in Jay-Z’s career.
At 56, the rapper is using the JAŸ-Z 30 tour to revisit the music that established him as one of hip-hop’s most influential figures. His recent performances have shown that his biggest records still command major stadium audiences decades after their release.
Now, Paris gets its turn.
With thousands of fans expected at the Stade de France, Jay-Z’s latest concert is set to celebrate three decades of music, influence and longevity in hip-hop.
