Apple has unveiled the MacBook Neo, an all-new laptop that combines the iconic Mac experience with affordability for millions of users worldwide. The laptop features a durable aluminum design available in four vibrant colors: blush, indigo, silver, and a fresh citrus shade. Each color extends to the Magic Keyboard and included wallpapers, creating a cohesive and visually striking design.
Weighing just 2.7 pounds, the MacBook Neo is portable enough for classrooms, coffee shops, and commuting, while still offering a solid and elegant feel in hand. Apple’s focus on quality materials makes it the most colorful and accessible MacBook yet.
Brilliant 13-inch liquid retina display
The MacBook Neo boasts a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a 2408-by-1506 resolution and 500 nits of brightness. With support for one billion colors, the screen delivers sharp text, vivid photos, and lifelike videos. An anti-reflective coating ensures comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions, whether streaming content, editing photos, or participating in video calls.
Powerful performance with a18 pro
Under the hood, the MacBook Neo is powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip, making everyday tasks like web browsing, messaging, photo editing, and AI-based workflows faster and more efficient. Compared to the bestselling PC with the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, MacBook Neo is up to 50 percent faster for general tasks and three times faster for on-device AI tasks.
A 5-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine provide smooth graphics and accelerated AI functionality while keeping all data secure and private. The laptop is also fanless, offering silent operation for uninterrupted work or study.

Designed with the environment in mind
Apple engineered MacBook Neo to be its lowest-carbon MacBook yet, featuring 60 percent recycled content, including 90 percent recycled aluminum and 100 percent recycled cobalt in the battery. Production uses 45 percent renewable electricity and material-efficient processes that reduce aluminum usage by half. Paper packaging is 100 percent fiber-based and recyclable.
Pricing and availability
MacBook Neo is available for pre-order starting today at apple.com and in the Apple Store app in 30 countries. The laptop will begin arriving to customers and in stores on March 11, 2026. Pricing starts at $599 and $499 for educational purchases. Apple Trade In, AppleCare options, and Personal Setup sessions are available for additional support and value.
