Jackass: Best and Last trailer reveals 5 wild final stunts

Apr. 28, 2026 / Film / Author: Praise Swint

The Jackass: Best and Last trailer arrived on April 27, 2026, and it makes one thing clear right away. After 25 years, nothing has changed  and that is very much the point. Paramount Pictures released the official first look at the fifth and final film in the long-running franchise. Director Jeff Tremaine returns alongside producers Spike Jonze and Johnny Knoxville. Together, they have put together what the official logline calls a celebration of all the chaos fans have come to love.

The film opens in theaters on June 26, 2026. Moreover, it promises to be the last time audiences watch this crew destroy their bodies for laughs on the big screen.

What the Jackass: Best and Last trailer shows in its wildest moments

The trailer introduces 5 moments that set the tone for what the crew calls their most personal and chaotic film yet.

First, the mood is immediately bittersweet. Knoxville stands on the set of the first day of filming and says he feels sad. It is a rare moment of honesty from a man who has spent decades hiding pain behind laughter. The opening works precisely because it is so unexpected.

Second, a robot named Larry steals the show early. The gang introduces their newest cast member  a robot designed to perform the world’s first robotic prostate exam on Steve-O. The trailer teases the moment with the kind of gleeful disgust only Jackass can deliver.

Third, Poopies agrees to wear a shock collar on a part of his body that will make viewers wince. The trailer does not show the full bit. However, it does show Poopies looking far too enthusiastic about the whole thing.

Fourth, an escape room from hell puts the entire crew through physical punishment. The footage shows them getting battered as they try to move from room to room. As a result, it plays like a greatest-hits montage of the franchise’s signature group suffering.

Fifth, a jump goes badly wrong  and everyone looks thrilled about it anyway. The trailer closes on high-energy chaos, set to the song “Dumb,” which fits the spirit of the whole franchise perfectly.

The cast brings back 25 years of history for this final film

The returning cast includes Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), and Preston Lacy. Additionally, the ensemble includes Danger Ehren (Ehren McGhehey), Rachel Wolfson, Jasper, Dark Shark (Compston Wilson), Poopies (Sean McInerney), and Zach Holmes.

Notably, one major original name is missing from new footage. Bam Margera, who was fired from the production of Jackass Forever, will only appear in the new movie through archived footage. His absence adds a layer of real-life tension to what the film presents as a full franchise celebration.

As for Knoxville, his role in the new stunts is more limited than before. During the filming of Jackass Forever, Knoxville was hit by a bull and suffered a brain hemorrhage, a concussion, a broken wrist, and a broken rib. As a result, he cannot take part in any stunt that risks another concussion. Still, the trailer shows him very much present and directing the mayhem with his usual energy.

Why this final film matters more than just another sequel

The franchise began in 2000 with Jackass on MTV, a raw and unpredictable series that quickly became a cultural lightning rod. Since then, it has produced four feature films, countless injuries, and a devoted global fan base. The first theatrical film, Jackass: The Movie, grossed $79 million worldwide on a modest budget. Subsequent entries included Jackass Number Two (2006), Jackass 3D (2010), and Jackass Forever (2022), which grossed over $80 million globally.

Furthermore, Best and Last will be a mix of old and new footage, bringing back the biggest stunts and pranks from the entire franchise along with never-before-seen moments. That combination makes it both a greatest-hits package and a proper send-off.

In the end, the Jackass: Best and Last trailer does exactly what it needs to do. It reminds you why you loved this crew in the first place. Then it confirms they are going out with maximum noise, minimum dignity, and absolutely zero regrets.
