Ciara Miller is closing the door on her friendship with Amanda Batula — and she is making clear there is no going back.
The Summer House star spoke to PEOPLE on the red carpet over the weekend ahead of the Season 10 reunion, declaring that her years-long bond with Batula is finished after Amanda confirmed she is now dating Ciara’s ex, West Wilson. Ciara said the situation was not something she would wish on her worst enemy.
The fallout has become one of the most discussed storylines heading into the Summer House reunion, which premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET.
A six-year friendship in ruins
Ciara and Amanda had been close friends for six years, with Ciara long considering herself one of Amanda’s most loyal and vocal supporters. That friendship unraveled after Amanda, who announced her split from longtime partner Kyle Cooke earlier this year, confirmed she had begun a relationship with West Wilson — someone Ciara had previously dated.
Ciara and West first dated in 2023 before reconnecting during the current season of the show. The news of Amanda and West’s relationship landed as a deep blow for Ciara, who has made no effort to hide how personally she took it given the length and closeness of their friendship.

What happened at the reunion
Ciara described the Season 10 reunion taping as an emotionally raw but ultimately freeing experience. She told PEOPLE she had spent months operating in survival mode and is now ready to leave it all behind, turning her attention toward what comes next.
She said the reunion would finally give viewers the clarity they have been waiting for about the situation’s real timeline and what actually happened. Despite how difficult the day was, Ciara said she found the experience cathartic, giving her the chance to say what she needed to say directly to the people involved.
A recently released reunion trailer offered a preview of how heated the confrontation became, with Ciara directly addressing Amanda about what she described as a fundamental betrayal after years of unwavering support and friendship.
Ready to move forward
For Ciara, the focus is firmly on what comes next. She said the reunion brought her a sense of clarity about who belongs in her life going forward and who does not, and she is treating that clarity as something positive rather than dwelling on the hurt.
While the friendship with Amanda appears finished, Ciara framed her perspective as one of acceptance and forward momentum rather than lasting bitterness. She said she is genuinely excited about the next chapter and grateful to finally be on the other side of what has been an exhausting and painful situation.
The Summer House Season 10 reunion premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET.
