For the first time since 2019, Vulture Festival is returning to New York City, and it is doing so in a very big way. Tribeca Enterprises and New York Magazine’s Vulture have formed a new partnership that will bring the beloved pop culture event back to downtown Manhattan as part of the 25th Tribeca Festival. The joint event, now called Vulture Festival at Tribeca Festival, will run from June 3 to June 14, 2026, across New York City.
Passes and industry badges are currently available at TribecaFilm.com, and individual ticket options will also be offered for specific events. Full programming details are expected to be announced later this spring.
What fans can expect from this new collaboration
Vulture Festival at Tribeca Festival is being designed as a destination experience for pop culture enthusiasts. Attendees can look forward to 1) marquee conversations with major creators and talent, 2) exclusive cast and show reunions, 3) special screenings, and 4) live experiences spanning film, television, comedy, and broader pop culture.
The collaboration pairs Tribeca’s long-standing reputation for championing independent storytelling with Vulture’s signature fan-driven programming and its sharp, witty editorial voice. For longtime fans of both institutions, the combination feels like a natural and welcome match.
Why this partnership carries real significance
Both Tribeca Festival and Vulture share deep New York City roots, and both have spent years serving audiences who care deeply about culture and the people who create it.
Tribeca Festival was founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff with a mission to help revitalize lower Manhattan following the September 11 attacks. Over the past 25 years, it has grown into a globally respected platform that has helped launch the careers of some of today’s most celebrated filmmakers and storytellers. Among its notable alumni are 1) Damien Chazelle, 2) Ryan Coogler, 3) Jon M. Chu, 4) Nia DaCosta, and 5) Domee Shi, all of whom passed through Tribeca early in their careers before going on to reshape modern film and television.
Vulture, launched in 2007 as an entertainment outlet of New York Magazine, built its name by delivering comprehensive and passionate coverage of TV, film, music, comedy, and podcasts to a fiercely loyal readership.
A 25th anniversary worth marking
This year’s Tribeca Festival is not just another edition on the calendar. It marks a quarter century of independent voices, bold storytelling, and cultural discovery rooted in the heart of New York City.
The 25th anniversary celebration will honor the festival’s rich legacy and the vibrant community of artists and filmmakers it has supported over the decades. Adding Vulture Festival to the mix only deepens what is already shaping up to be the most significant edition in the festival’s history.
In 2019, James Murdoch’s Lupa Systems acquired a majority stake in Tribeca Enterprises, bringing fresh investment and ambition to the organization as it continues to grow its cultural footprint.
With two New York institutions joining forces for this milestone moment, the summer of 2026 is already looking like a landmark season for the city’s cultural calendar.
