The wait for the full Dancing With the Stars season 35 cast is almost over.
ABC will reveal the remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners on Good Morning America Wednesday, Sept. 2. The announcement comes less than two weeks before the new season begins. So far, ABC has confirmed four contestants. Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Guillermo Rodriguez and Jackson Olson are all set to compete.
The announcement will also fill in the pairings that fans have been waiting to see.
Dancing season 35 gets a major reveal date
The Sept. 2 announcement will give viewers a clearer picture of the competition before the season starts. Witney Carson already has her partner. The former Mirrorball winner will dance with Guillermo Rodriguez, who is known for his work on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The remaining celebrity and professional pairings are expected to be announced during the ABC morning show. That timing gives fans only a short window to learn about the full cast before the competition begins.
The new season has four confirmed stars
ABC has already introduced four names from the season 35 lineup. Ciara Miller is known for Bravo’s Summer House. Maura Higgins gained attention through Love Island UK and The Traitors.
Rodriguez brings a comedy background to the ballroom. Olson is known for playing with the Savannah Bananas. The mix gives the new season a range of personalities and backgrounds. More names are expected when ABC makes its full announcement.
When does Dancing With the Stars season 35 start
Season 35 will open with a two night premiere.
The first episode airs Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The second episode follows Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the same time. Viewers who miss the broadcast can stream the episodes the following day on Hulu and Disney+.
The judging panel will also return. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are set to judge the competition. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will return as hosts.
The Sept. 2 announcement should answer the biggest remaining questions about the cast. Until then, fans have only a partial picture of who will enter the ballroom and which celebrity pairings could shape the season.
