National Pancake Day arrives today with deals from several restaurant chains. Some offer free pancakes. Others have low prices or buy one get one offers.
The date can be confusing for pancake fans. IHOP has its own National Pancake Day event in March. However, Sept. 26 appears on the National Day Calendar as National Pancake Day.
As a result, several restaurants are offering deals this weekend. Here is what diners can find.
Where to find pancake deals
Cracker Barrel has one of the day’s most notable offers. Customers can get all you can eat pancakes for $5. The offer applies to dine in customers while supplies last. The first order comes with three pancakes. Each refill comes with two more. The $5 price covers the pancakes only. Drinks, eggs, meat and other sides cost extra.
Huddle House also has a special offer. Customers who dine in can get a buy one get one deal on Old Fashioned pancakes. The offer applies during each restaurant’s posted hours. Perkins Restaurant and Bakery has another low price. Its Great American Pancake Trio costs $4.99 from Sept. 25 through Sept. 27.
The meal includes three pancakes. Diners can choose buttermilk, chocolate chip, blueberry or strawberry pancakes. The offer applies to dine in customers and in restaurant purchases.

Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine are also joining the celebration. Ruby Bennies rewards members can get a free pancake with any purchase. The offer runs through Sept. 26 at participating locations.
Another pancake option to consider
Denny’s is not part of the main National Pancake Day promotions. Still, its Triple Play Combo Meal gives diners another option.
The meal starts at $9.99. Customers can choose an Everyday Value Slam with pancakes, brioche French toast or biscuits and gravy. The meal also includes eggs and bacon or sausage. Another option is the Super Slam. It includes two pancakes, two eggs, bacon, sausage and hash browns. A drink and appetizer are also included.
Check local restaurants too
The listed chains are among the larger names with National Pancake Day offers. However, local restaurants may have their own deals. Therefore, diners should check nearby restaurants before making plans. Some offers may have limited hours, location rules or other restrictions. For pancake fans, Sept. 26 offers several ways to enjoy a stack while spending less.
