He shared photos from Washington, D.C., and reflected on the show’s journey.
The filming location also carried a connection to the story. Fogelman described the move as “finishing where it (fictionally) started.”
He also said he looks forward to sharing Season 3 with viewers.
At the same time, Fogelman acknowledged how much he will miss the series and the people who made it.
Sterling K. Brown Returns as Xavier Collins
Sterling K. Brown remains at the center of Paradise.
He plays Xavier Collins, a former Secret Service agent caught in the mysteries surrounding the isolated community. Hulu describes the series as a thriller created by Fogelman and produced by 20th Television.
Season 2 expanded the show’s story beyond the bunker.
Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale left Xavier with another major mission.
Season 3 will continue that story as the series moves toward its planned conclusion.
Julianne Nicholson Returns to Paradise
Julianne Nicholson also appeared with Fogelman and Brown during the final filming in Washington.
Her return may surprise viewers because her character, Samantha Redmond, also known as Sinatra, died in the Season 2 finale.
However, the show’s nonlinear storytelling creates room for Nicholson to return.
Writer John Hoberg previously confirmed that viewers would see Nicholson’s character again through flashbacks.
Therefore, her presence in Season 3 does not necessarily change what happened to Sinatra in the main timeline.
Paradise Season 3 Will Complete the Story
The third season will now serve as the show’s final installment.
Fogelman’s decision follows his earlier plan for a three-season story arc. The creative team had discussed completing the story across three seasons before Hulu renewed the series.
As a result, Season 3 can focus on resolving the major mysteries surrounding Paradise.
The series has already expanded from a political murder mystery into a larger science-fiction story.
That evolution will continue in the final season.
Paradise Season 3 Is Coming in 2027
Hulu has not announced an exact premiere date for Season 3.
However, the season is expected to arrive in 2027.
The completed production means the series has now moved into its post-production phase.
Fans will have to wait for more details about the premiere date, story and returning cast.
