Married at First Sight returns for its 20th season today, Sunday, July 12, streaming exclusively on Peacock. This season features the largest cast in franchise history. Fourteen singles have agreed to marry complete strangers selected by relationship experts, creating seven couples in Seattle. Additionally, Peacock will release new episodes in batches through late August before wrapping up the season with a finale and reunion special.
What Married at First Sight is about
The reality series follows singles searching for a lasting relationship. They agree to marry complete strangers matched by relationship experts. The experiment begins on their wedding day. Afterward, each couple navigates everyday life, family dynamics, compatibility challenges and emotional highs and lows while cameras document the experience. Finally, every couple reaches Decision Day, when they must decide whether to stay married or end the relationship.
Meet the Season 20 couples
Seven couples make up the Season 20 cast, and all of them live in Seattle. The matched pairs are Adam Dehmlow, 31, and Marissa Meyer, 30; Felipe Cruz, 29, and Tori Dahl, 32; Shawn Best, 47, and Nikki Jefferson, 46; Cameron Mitchell, 37, and Michelle Le, 28; Nick Unlenhuth, 31, and Courteney Landis, 28; Devin Short, 26, and Caitlin Grimm, 27; and Mecca Amen, 28, and BelléJolie Force, 28.
Two new experts join the show
Season 20 also introduces two new relationship experts. Paul C. Brunson is an internationally recognized matchmaker and relationship coach with more than 25 years of experience. Meanwhile, Dr. Lisa Paz is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in intimacy, sex and relationship counseling. Together, they lead the expert panel throughout the new season.
Full episode release schedule
Peacock will release Season 20 in multi-episode batches instead of following a weekly schedule. First, Episode 1 premieres today, July 12. Next, Episodes 2 and 3 arrive on July 16. After that, Episodes 4, 5 and 6 debut on July 23. Then, Episodes 7, 8 and 9 follow on July 30. Meanwhile, Episodes 10, 11 and 12 arrive on Aug. 6. The following week, Episodes 13, 14 and 15 premiere on Aug. 13. Afterward, Episodes 16, 17 and 18 debut on Aug. 20. Finally, the finale and reunion special conclude the season on Aug. 27. Overall, Season 20 includes 20 episodes.
How to watch Married at First Sight Season 20
Peacock does not offer a standard free trial. Instead, viewers need a subscription. Plans start at $10.99 per month for Peacock Premium or $16.99 per month for Premium Plus.
