Kanye West gave fans an unexpected moment Friday night in Los Angeles. The rapper appeared during Usher and Chris Brown’s show at SoFi Stadium on Sept. 25.
West joined the performers during their joint tour stop. He then ran through several well-known songs from his catalog. Fans shared clips of the appearance across social media.
The Los Angeles crowd heard songs including Runaway, Flashing Lights and All of the Lights. He also performed Can’t Tell Me Nothing and N**s in Paris.
The appearance came during the first of four Los Angeles shows for Usher and Chris Brown. The tour will return to the city later in the run.
What happened at the SoFi Stadium show
West emerged during the concert and took the stage alongside the tour’s two headliners. Footage from the night shows the crowd reacting as he began performing.
The moment also marked another high profile guest appearance connected to the tour. Earlier this month, Taraji P. Henson joined Usher during a Las Vegas performance.
West and Chris Brown have also worked together and maintained a public musical connection over the years. Their latest appearance together added another unexpected moment to the Los Angeles stop.
For Usher and Brown, the surprise came as their tour continued across the country. The joint run began in June and is scheduled to continue into December.

More tour stops are ahead
The Los Angeles shows are only part of the long tour schedule. Usher and Brown are set to continue performing across the country before returning to Los Angeles later in the year.
West also has additional performances scheduled as part of his own touring plans. His surprise appearance therefore fits into a busy stretch of live music activity for all three artists.
For fans at SoFi Stadium, however, the night offered something they could not have expected from the original lineup. Kanye West walked onto the stage and turned an already star filled show into a three artist moment.
