Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 will bring together 272 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and territories for its upcoming edition.
The fair will feature a reconfigured showfloor and a more focused gallery lineup. More than 30 galleries will participate for the first time.
Art Basel says most of the new exhibitors will appear in project-based sectors such as Nova, Positions and Survey.
Art Basel Miami Beach expands its global reach
The 2026 edition will highlight artistic production from across the Americas within an international setting.
Latin America and the Caribbean will have a strong presence at the fair. Brazil will represent the third-largest national contingent.
The lineup will also feature notable participation from Los Angeles and Chicago. In addition, Art Basel will showcase a stronger group of galleries from South Florida.
The diverse lineup reflects the fair’s focus on connecting artists, galleries and collectors from different regions.
Zero 10 returns with 19 projects
Zero 10 will return to Art Basel Miami Beach with Generation, its largest presentation to date.
The presentation will feature 19 projects by artists including Jon Rafman, Refik Anadol and Sarah Meyohas.
Karen Archey will curate the presentation with Eli Scheinman.
Established galleries will also have a larger presence in Zero 10 this year. Nicole Sales Giles will join Art Basel as the sector’s first Global Head.
Art Basel unveils new public art projects
The 2026 program will extend beyond the traditional fair floor.
The Turrell Art Foundation and Art Basel will present a new body of work by James Turrell outdoors. Pace Gallery will support the project.
The installation will remain free and open to the public.
Public Art Fund will also bring Between Tides to Collins Park. The participatory exhibition will feature artist-designed ping-pong tables.
These projects will give visitors additional ways to experience contemporary art throughout Miami Beach.
Art Basel redesigns its showfloor
Art Basel will introduce a substantially redesigned showfloor for the 2026 edition.
The organization developed the new layout after receiving feedback from exhibitors and its Selection Committee.
The redesign will open sightlines across the fair. It will also distribute blue-chip exhibitors throughout the show.
Galleries with different program sizes will sit closer together. Art Basel says the changes will create a more focused experience for visitors and exhibitors.
Art Basel Awards return in 2026
The Art Basel Awards will also return in partnership with BOSS.
The organization will reveal the Gold Awardees during the Official Art Basel Awards Night on Thursday, December 3.
The awards will add another major event to the 2026 Miami Beach program.

Art Basel Miami Beach will return to Miami Beach in December 2026.
The fair will bring together hundreds of exhibitors alongside special exhibitions, public art projects and industry events.
With 272 exhibitors, a redesigned showfloor and an expanded Zero 10 presentation, the 2026 edition will offer a broad look at contemporary art from the Americas and beyond.
