Cardi B and Stefon Diggs reconciliation speculation reached a new high this weekend. The pair made a very public appearance together at the Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday, May 10. And the moment did not go unnoticed.
Sports journalist Kelsey Nicole Nelson captured the outing on social media. In the footage, Diggs kissed Cardi on the cheek and pulled her close with his arm wrapped around her waist. A separate snapshot showed the two sharing a warm embrace. Cardi flashed a wide smile over his shoulder throughout. Together, the affectionate moments left little doubt about where things stand between them.
What they wore
Cardi arrived at the event in a brown knit sleeveless mock turtleneck with detached sleeves and a matching skirt. She wore her hair long and straight. She also accessorized with heeled sandals and a small handbag. Diggs, meanwhile, kept things casual. He showed up in a pink hoodie with a red heart graphic and a pair of denim shorts.
A pattern of public sightings
Saturday’s appearance was not the first sign of a possible reunion. In fact, speculation had already been building for weeks. Back in April, Diggs attended Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour stop in Washington, D.C. Personal trainer Clyde Simmons posted footage on Instagram showing Diggs there with his brother Trevon Diggs and their mother, Stephanie Diggs.
Later that same evening, the two appeared to leave together after Cardi’s afterparty at Throw Social. Diggs and his family exited first. Cardi followed shortly after, paused briefly to speak with him, then got into his white car and left with him.
How the split happened
Cardi, 33, and Diggs, 32, first went public as a couple in May 2025. However, they split in February 2026, around the time Diggs competed in Super Bowl 2026. His New England Patriots lost to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13. Shortly after the game, both unfollowed each other on Instagram. At the time, a source told People that trust had broken down on Cardi’s side. As a result, she refocused her energy on her children, her music and her tour. Reports also indicated that before the split, Cardi had made her expectations around fidelity very clear to Diggs.
A growing family and complicated histories
Together, Cardi and Diggs share an infant son. They welcomed him in November 2025. In addition, Diggs has five other children with five different women. Notably, four of those children arrived in 2025 the same year he and Cardi welcomed their baby.
On her end, Cardi shares three children with estranged husband Offset. She filed for divorce from him for the second time in 2024, and that case remains ongoing.
So far, neither Cardi’s nor Diggs’ representatives have responded to requests for comment. For now, though, the footage from Saturday’s Mother’s Day event continues to speak for itself and fans are paying close attention.
