Stevie Wonder is hitting the road to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Songs in the Key of Life. The legendary singer has announced an 18-date international tour honoring one of his most celebrated albums.
The Stevie Wonder 50th anniversary tour will take him across Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States this fall. The tour begins Oct. 13 in Birmingham, England, and will wrap Dec. 19 in Inglewood, California.

Fans will get a special treat during the anniversary shows. Wonder is set to perform Songs in the Key of Life in its entirety.
Released in 1976, the double album became one of Wonder’s defining musical achievements. It also earned him the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
The project features beloved songs such as “Sir Duke,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “As” and “I Wish.” The album has also been recognized by the Library of Congress for its cultural and historical importance.
From London to New York and Los Angeles
The tour includes stops in major cities across Europe and the U.K. before moving to North America.
Wonder will perform at London’s O2 on Nov. 3. He will then head to Manchester and Glasgow before beginning the U.S. leg.
The American dates start Nov. 19 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tour will also stop in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Detroit before concluding in the Los Angeles area.
Detroit fans will get an added opportunity to see the music legend. Wonder is scheduled for two performances at the Fox Theatre on Dec. 8 and 9.
A celebration 50 years in the making
Songs in the Key of Life remains one of Stevie Wonder’s most influential albums. Its themes of love, family, community and hope continue to connect with listeners decades after its release.
Now, fans will have the chance to experience those songs live from the artist who created them.
For longtime Wonder fans, the anniversary tour offers a rare opportunity to hear the landmark album from beginning to end.
