Lil Durk will remain in jail as he prepares to face another trial over murder-related charges.
The Chicago rapper, whose real name is Durk Banks, was acquitted of all charges in his murder-for-hire case on Sept. 11.
However, his legal battle is not over.
Durk is scheduled to face a second trial on Oct. 5. The case involves racketeering and weapons charges connected to the same incident involving Quando Rondo and Saviay’a Robinson.

Durk’s second trial stems from charges that were separated from his murder-for-hire case.
Prosecutors initially included a VICAR charge in a third superseding indictment filed in June. His attorneys successfully argued for the charges to be severed from the murder-for-hire case.
