Fat Joe brought more than three decades of hip-hop to NPR’s Tiny Desk with a 10-song performance featuring some of his longtime collaborators.
The Bronx rapper welcomed Remy Ma, Jadakiss, Stove God Cooks, Stevie Mackey and Dre of the production duo Cool & Dre for the November 5 performance. Together, they delivered a set that blended familiar hits with songs from his latest album, Organized Rhyme.
The appearance also marked Fat Joe’s return to the popular NPR concert series five years after his Tiny Desk (Home) performance. This time, however, he performed at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C., with a live band and several special guests.

Dre also joined the group, contributing background vocals. His appearance added another connection to Fat Joe’s longtime musical collaborators.

Fat Joe’s return follows his 2021 Tiny Desk performance
Fat Joe previously appeared on Tiny Desk in 2021. At the time, NPR’s home-concert format brought the performance to his UP NYC sneaker store rather than its headquarters.
Five years later, his return offered a different setting and a larger group of collaborators. The new performance also reflects his continued connection to hip-hop while introducing songs from his latest project.
Organized Rhyme provides part of the musical foundation for the set. The album features collaborations with artists including Jadakiss and Pusha T, alongside production from longtime partners Cool & Dre.
