Burna Boy is bringing Afrobeats to the NFL. The Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist will headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game on October 25.
The NFL announced the news Thursday, confirming that Burna Boy will perform during the league’s first regular-season game in Paris. The game will take place at Stade de France.
Burna Boy heads to the NFL Paris Game
Burna Boy will perform when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints in Paris. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at 2:30 p.m. CEST at Stade de France.
The announcement adds a major music moment to the NFL’s expanding international schedule. The 2026 season includes games across several countries, with halftime performances helping connect the events to local and global audiences.
For Burna Boy, the Paris appearance also marks a return to Stade de France. In 2025, he became the first African artist to headline a concert at the stadium, according to the Associated Press.
Burna Boy brings Afrobeats to Paris
Burna Boy has become one of the most internationally recognized Nigerian artists. His music blends Afrobeats with influences from hip-hop, reggae and R&B.
The singer also won a Grammy for his 2022 album “Twice as Tall.” His upcoming NFL performance gives him another opportunity to bring African music to a major international sports audience.
The Paris performance is part of the NFL’s 2026 international games schedule. Paris is one of several international markets hosting NFL regular-season action this season.
