NAACP General Counsel Kristen Clarke said the organization wants to help the family uncover the truth.

The organization’s involvement adds another major civil rights voice to the case.
Meanwhile, Crump has also joined the family’s efforts for answers.
Nolan Wells’ Cause of Death Remains Undetermined
An independent autopsy has not provided a definitive explanation for Wells’ death.
According to the family’s legal team, the autopsy lists both the cause and manner of death as undetermined.
That finding leaves the circumstances surrounding Wells’ death unresolved.
His family now wants more information about what happened between his disappearance and the discovery of his body.
The NAACP’s involvement could increase attention on the case as the family continues to seek transparency.
