Khloé Kardashian is ready to introduce viewers to the women she calls her chosen family.
Hulu has announced that The Girls, a new reality series from Kardashian, will premiere on Aug. 21. The six-episode series follows her close circle of longtime friends as they navigate motherhood, relationships, business ventures and the ups and downs of everyday life.
Unlike The Kardashians, the new show shifts the focus away from the famous family and instead highlights the friendships that have remained part of Kardashian’s life for years.
Khloé Kardashian The Girls Features Her Closest Friends
The series stars several familiar faces from Kardashian’s inner circle, including Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq McCray, Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, Yris Palmer and Nicole Williams English.
According to Hulu, the women are raising children, building businesses and supporting one another through life’s biggest moments. The show also promises plenty of unfiltered conversations, emotional moments and group drama.
Kardashian previously described the cast as her “real-life besties” and said she is excited for audiences to get to know the women who have supported her through different stages of her life.
Hulu Introduces a New Reality Series
Hulu first announced The Girls during its Get Real event earlier this year.
At the time, the streaming platform revealed that Kardashian would executive produce and appear in the series. The project expands Hulu’s growing lineup of unscripted programming while building on Kardashian’s successful partnership with the platform through The Kardashians.
Now, Hulu has confirmed that all six episodes will debut on Aug. 21, giving fans the opportunity to binge-watch the entire season on release day. The series will also stream on Hulu on Disney+ for eligible subscribers.
The Girls Promises Friendship, Family and Business
While the Kardashian-Jenner family remains one of reality television’s biggest franchises, The Girls takes a different approach.
Instead of following celebrity sisters, the show centers on the friendships that have shaped Kardashian’s personal life for years. Viewers can expect stories about parenting, entrepreneurship, relationships and the challenges of balancing public attention with private lives.
Hulu describes the series as a fresh era of reality television where close friendships take center stage. From surprise proposals to parenting challenges and glamorous getaways, the women will share the highs and lows of their lives together.
Khloé Kardashian Expands Her Television Portfolio
The launch of The Girls marks another major television project for Kardashian.
In addition to starring on The Kardashians, she continues to expand her work as an executive producer and media personality. The new series gives her an opportunity to spotlight the women she considers family while introducing viewers to a different side of her life.
With all six episodes arriving on Aug. 21, The Girls is poised to become one of Hulu’s biggest reality premieres of the summer.
