Paramount UFC streaming deal ends costly PPV fees for good.

The Paramount UFC streaming deal has officially ended the pay-per-view era for American fight fans. Starting with UFC 324 on Jan. 24, 2026, every premium UFC event moved to Paramount+. Fans no longer pay separate fees to watch title fights. Instead, the full UFC slate comes included with any Paramount+ subscription tier. Plans start at $8.99 per month.

Before the shift, fans paid as much as $80 per event through ESPN+. That model locked out casual viewers and made budget planning a requirement before every fight card. That barrier no longer exists.

A record-breaking deal worth $7.7 billion

Paramount and TKO Group announced the agreement in August 2025. The two companies signed a seven-year contract worth $7.7 billion. It stands as the largest sports investment in Paramount’s history. The deal runs through 2032 and gives Paramount+ exclusive U.S. streaming rights to UFC content.

Under the terms, Paramount+ carries all 13 numbered events each year. It also streams all 30 UFC Fight Night cards annually. Select marquee bouts also air on CBS television, extending the reach beyond streaming subscribers. Legacy content, including past fights and highlight archives, is also available on demand across all subscription tiers.

The debut of the partnership proved the investment worthwhile almost immediately. UFC 324 drew nearly five million households, breaking platform viewership records on its very first night.

What fans get at every subscription level

Every Paramount+ subscriber, regardless of plan, gains full access to UFC content at no added cost. That includes every numbered event, every Fight Night card and all archived content. Dana White Contender Series and The Ultimate Fighter also moved exclusively to Paramount+ this year.

The financial math works strongly in fans’ favor. Previously, a fan who watched five PPV events in a year could spend $400 or more on top of their streaming costs. Now, that same fan pays nothing extra. Families can host watch parties without doing the math first. Casual fans can tune in without committing to a purchase.

How the deal benefits all sides

The partnership delivers clear advantages beyond the fan experience. UFC secures guaranteed, long-term funding through the deal. It also gains broader exposure through CBS broadcasts and Paramount’s global distribution network. Coverage expanded to Latin America and Australia starting in 2026, pushing UFC further into international markets.

Paramount+, meanwhile, gains a powerful tool for subscriber growth. Combat sports audiences tend to engage deeply and return consistently. That kind of reliable viewership is exactly what streaming platforms compete to attract. The UFC audience gives Paramount+ a strong foundation for long-term subscriber retention.

What’s ahead in 2026 and beyond

The UFC calendar stays busy throughout the rest of 2026. UFC 328, featuring Chimaev vs. Strickland, streams this Saturday on Paramount+. Fight Night events continue weekly throughout May. On June 14, UFC at the White House adds a high-profile event to the schedule.

Beyond this year, the seven-year deal provides stability for both sides through 2032. Paramount has indicated plans to expand UFC coverage into additional global markets over the life of the agreement. Whether the platform introduces exclusive behind-the-scenes programming or new viewing features remains to be seen. What is already clear, however, is that the Paramount UFC streaming deal has permanently altered how American fans watch combat sports. The PPV model, once the financial backbone of the sport, is now history.
