Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have quietly resumed sharing a home. People confirmed the news through an insider close to the couple. According to the source, Jada moved back in with Will two years ago. The pair are happy, love each other and remain committed to supporting one another. Several recent public appearances now make a great deal more sense in light of that revelation.
Recent public appearances together
The couple reunited in Paris to support their son Jaden Smith’s growing fashion career. Together, they attended Christian Louboutin’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear presentation. Joining them were daughter Willow Smith, Will’s son Trey Smith and Jada’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris. Days before the show, photographers captured the pair walking arm-in-arm after dinner with Jaden in the French capital.
Their time together continued into the July 4 weekend. An insider confirmed that Jada joined Will in Philadelphia, where he performed during the city’s 250th anniversary celebration. Weather delays pushed his set back until 2 a.m. Throughout the evening, Jada remained by his side.
How their relationship evolved
This update marks a significant turn in one of Hollywood’s most closely watched marriages. Back in 2023, Jada revealed publicly that she and Will had been living separately since 2016, despite never divorcing. At the time, she described their bond as one of deep love and framed the path forward as something they were still working out together.
She said she intended to remain by his side while also giving him space to work through his own challenges. Neither party ever filed for divorce. The new report suggests the distance they maintained for years has now given way to a more integrated life together.
The ongoing legal situation
Even as their relationship has stabilized, legal matters tied to Bilaal Salaam continue. A former Will Smith associate, Salaam filed a lawsuit against Jada in late 2025, seeking $3 million. He alleged she threatened him during a 2021 confrontation and later organized a campaign of intimidation. Specifically, he claimed this followed his refusal to help manage fallout from Will’s 2022 Oscars incident involving Chris Rock.
Jada has consistently denied those allegations. In a previous radio appearance, she dismissed similar claims as nonsense. A judge later dismissed key portions of Salaam’s lawsuit under California’s anti-SLAPP law. Additionally, the court ordered Salaam to pay more than $32,000 in Jada’s legal fees. He has since asked the court to reduce that amount and is seeking another deposition from Jada. The matter remains unresolved.
