Serena and Venus Williams are back on the doubles court together for the first time in nearly four years.
The tennis legends reunited Monday, Aug. 17, at the Cincinnati Open, marking their first doubles appearance since the 2022 U.S. Open. Their return brought plenty of excitement as fans packed the venue to watch the iconic sisters compete together again.
The Williams sisters faced Marta Kostyuk and Cincinnati native Peyton Stearns in their highly anticipated comeback match.
Serena and Venus opened the match with a 6-2 loss in the first set. However, they responded strongly in the second set, winning 6-1 and forcing a deciding match tiebreak.
Kostyuk and Stearns ultimately secured the victory, winning the tiebreak 10-8.
